I understand that most schools require some documentation if you claim to be Native American, but when it comes to black/hispanic, how exactly do schools check? Do they perform interviews with URMs who are admitted to make sure they are of the race they claimed?

I have heard the same thing. I am 1/8 Muskogee/Eastern Creek Native American. I have my adult membership card and tribe enrolled. Even on my UG transcripts it says that I am "Native American/Alaskan Native." Do we need to send proper documentation to the schools we want to apply to? I know that a lot of people "claim" to be NA and that checking that box for the NA race may have some protocols? Please help!

This has been brought up many times on here. Good luck passing your C&F review as a Ron Howard lookalike who decided to tell law schools he was African American.
