I withdrew my app from michigan today... hopefully that will get someone in off the waitlist... I'm going to withdraw from washu and texas pretty soon as well. I would withdraw from UT if I actually had some information on how to do that... Seriously, I got accepted in October, where the hell is my acceptance packet? All I got was a small letter, and I haven't gotten anything else since that...

I just got stuff from two law schools... finally I can bask in the glory of my swag... ahhhhhhh....

here's the funny part:

I had a package from GWU, which I assumed was the t-shirt I had requested... I opened it up real quick to discover a flash drive with "GW Law" emblazoned on the side. I was pretty pumped because I've never had a flash drive before. I know you're probably thinking, wait, this guy is supposed to have been an elec engineer, why the hell didn't he ever have a flash drive? Well, I was always a cheap ass so I never bought one.

The next envelope was from Duke... I wasn't expecting anything from Duke so I couldn't even begin to guess what they'd sent me. I quickly started to chuckle... Today I went from having zero 256MB flash drives, to having two 256MB flash drives.

I just watched the video off of Duke's website about the Durham area, and I'm pretty excited about duke now. I have always been excited about the school, but I was a little skeptical of the area. I'm going to give berkely and georgetown a chance, but unless they offer more $$$ than Duke has, I think I'm going to go to duke law.
