Does anyone know how these schools are currently placing in patent law? I have a BS in EE, with a 2.8 GPA from a top 5 engineering school. I'm looking at chicago for practice location, but I'm open to anywhere I can get a good job if push comes to shove. Also what kind of class rank am I looking at to get a job from these school?

Rommel,
If you want to work in Chicago, go to UIUC or Notre Dame, as they have the best Chicago placement of the group. The quality of the individual programs should be a tie-breaker (unless one of schools has some amazing patent law program I don't know of).

Thanks for your help, but I got into Northwestern via ED. Still shocked they took me.

I thought berkeley had every T5 program in engineering though. Like aren't they 1-5 for everything?

tbf, I pretty much challenge you guys to find an area where Berkeley isn't top five that isn't law. They definitely are in engineering.

Definitely is a top 5 engineering school.
I don't think UCB is a top agricultural school either.

Agriculture is more important than all liberal arts combined.
Furthermore the University of California was established by the Morill Land Grant act, and thus agriculture was one of its primarily focuses.

I've heard that Kent is great for Patent Law...nothing to back it up, though
