Thanks for the offers of LSAT help/advice, guys! Now I know where I can turn for advice on logic games setups. I'm still not finishing LG, but I came within three questions yesterday! When I can finish the section, I believe I'll break 170.

Just a guess: but they serve markets with less competition so their graduates have better prospects. Even SD and ND need a few lawyers but florida and suffolk are in markets that are saturated.

Just a guess, could be wrong.

I posted this question in another thread as well, but am curious as to why Stetson's in the T-3? They made 2 top ten specialty lists, #1 in trial advocacy, and yet get pummeled downward. :?:

As far as U. of South and North Dakotas, I think Danti's right. There's NO competition for them in their states and it's INCREDIBLY cheap to attend there.

FIU's new. It will get there! Especially when this next incoming class dominates!!

Yes, they are both in saturated markets. Plus, FIU is still pretty young as law school and the undergrad has a subpar reputation in the South Florida area.

what makes the stetson drop even more confusing is the fact that its PT program was ranked relatively high

I think the drop was due to the name "Stetson" for a law school.

I got an email from them, and at the bottom, it read:

"We are not affiliated with the drug store cologne Stetson. People sometimes mistakenly confuse us with the cologne."

Holy crap! I always think of Stetson hats when I hear about Stetson law but had no idea there was a cologne company with the same name. Must be a lot of goodwill attached to that name for them not to change it after all these years.

The cologne, hats, and school are named after the same dude....in fact the schools nickname is "the hatters"....sounds better than "cheap cologners"

They're a few columns over from the right within the pictures. Bar passage rate is shown, too.

One of the autoadmiTTT's screen name is now "OperaSoprano atop a Black Stallion". Oh what bitter humble pie they eat.

Here's a classic one that I just noticed over there.... Looks like one of our TLSers decided to troll a bit:

Date: April 20th, 2009 4:35 PM
Author: TLS_kicks_ass

What has not been said here is that you XOXO members sent one of your own after the rankings--so obviously you care. I guarantee if one of you had posted the rankings, you'd be saying that TLS sucks. Don't be bitter because XOXO has become the bottom-feeder of the law school forums. That is all.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
