Suffolk University Law School just launched a new hybrid Juris Doctorate program. This program would allow both full-time and part-time students to go to school without sacrificing work or other responsibilities they might have. In the Hybrid program, students will attend their first year as normal and then their final two years will be online. Does this sound like a program you are interested in?

If approved by the American Bar Association, Seattle University of Law will offer a hybrid JD program in the fall of 2021. The Seattle Law Schools Flex JD program would require students to attend a few in-person classes and to meet on campus, but most of the classwork would be when the student had time and online.

I'm not looking at these specifically but it's only a matter of time until this is the "norm" or at least an option most places. New York state is the only reason it isn't more common since their bar has more stringent requirements regarding % of online instruction than anywhere else.

Agreed. It will be interesting to see if they still qualify for living costs on student loans. If going full time you would presume that they would.
