The line between peaceful protest and riots seems to be very blurry. At what point does speech go from being considered peaceful free speech to violent speech? At CUNY School of Law, threatening to burn a person’s shirt because you don’t like it would be considered peaceful protesting. While having the name “John Marshal” on a wall is an act of violence. Has CUNY School of Law gotten a little confused, or do you agree with them?
