CUNY School of Law

Post by tlsadmin3 » Fri Oct 02, 2020 6:29 pm

The line between peaceful protest and riots seems to be very blurry. At what point does speech go from being considered peaceful free speech to violent speech? At CUNY School of Law, threatening to burn a person’s shirt because you don’t like it would be considered peaceful protesting. While having the name “John Marshal” on a wall is an act of violence. Has CUNY School of Law gotten a little confused, or do you agree with them?

According to the Reason.com/Volokh Conspiracy post you apparently skimmed for this one, CUNY didn't do the John Marshall thing - that was (unsuprisingly) two law schools named for the guy.
