Applicant FAQ

Hi,
Just wondering which school people would choose if they were in my shoes. I'm considering offers from the following:

1) full tuition, no debt from a top 30 school in my home state that doesn't have an extensive international law program (my interest)

2) minimal debt from a top 30 school in a city I wouldn't necessarily stay in

3) significant debt (~110K) from top 25 school in a city I love with a good legal market, curriculum offers a lot that I'm interested in

4) am on the waitlist at several top 10 schools, trying to get off but odds are scholarship offers would be much lower

To get any kind of decent advice, you have to give us some specifics about which schools these are, your career goals, and your current LSAT/GPA.

That said, curricula are largely identical across law schools, and "specialization programs" are meaningless. That should not carry any weight in your decision-making process.

Yeah, your ability to do “international law” (depending on what you mean by that) is not likely to depend on a school’s curriculum.
