Hi,
Can a foreign JD holder get admission to a US JD Program .

PS 1: I am talking about getting a US JD (and not an LLM)

PS 2: I am familiar with the foreign JD's can practice in certain states but still asking.

Generally, yes. Some foreign law degree holders choose to pursue a U.S. J.D. (even though they'd qualify for admission to a U.S. LL.M. program) because, even from the same law school, a J.D. typically grants better employment odds than an LL.M. Also, a U.S. J.D. holder is eligible to seek admission to practice in all 50 states, whereas LL.M. holders are only eligible to seek admission in a few states (granted, those few states include NY, home to the U.S.' largest legal market, which tends to suffice for many/most foreign law degree holders).
