This is an interesting outcome, I think. If you end up retaking you should really look through your application, see if there are any major issues.

I was scoring up to a 164. I got a 163-164 on four practice tests right before the exam.Alive97 wrote:In your practice LSATs what were you scoring, and how long did you study/how many practice tests?

Six points below your PT average? You'd be doing yourself a huge disservice by not retaking.bulletbee wrote:I was scoring up to a 164. If you want to go this year, try and go to CUNY. If you want to stay in NYC and do PI, none of these schools are worth the money, and your gpa is going to hold you back from NYU even with a retake.

I mean OP could still get NYU. NYU takes those gpas all the time, he just needs a 170+jjking wrote:If you want to go this year, try and go to CUNY. If you want to stay in NYC and do PI, none of these schools are worth the money, and your gpa is going to hold you back from NYU even with a retake.

St. John's has insane section stacking where over half of people receiving scholarships lose them. If you're going to go, I would absolutely not go there.

Just to provide a slightly more nuanced "retake" response: what are your career goals?

Can you please post how much your COA will be? Telling us you got some small scholarship isn't that helpful and you should also include stipulations.bulletbee wrote:Any and all opinions are much appreciated...
#57 Seton Hall - admission with $15,000 per year
#65 Cardozo - admission
#72 St. John's - admission with $40,000 per year
#88 Brooklyn - admission with $25,000 per year
Should I go highest ranked or highest scholarship or most public interest opportunities? Thanks all
St Johns is definitely out though.
