Hey guys! Hope all is well. Just wanted to get your opinion on these. My goal is to work Big Law for a couple of years after LS and then transition into in-house or something else (maybe IJM or Public Interest).
I will only be funding LS with Scholarships and loans.
I would absolutely love to clerk after LS.
I am leaning slightly towards NU because of big law placement and I think I Cost of Attendance would be cheaper, despite Cal's tuition being cheaper. I doubt you can get a similar 1 BR in the Bay Area for the Chicago price.
I care more about what you guys would personally pick and which degree would be more portable.
Thanks Guys!

I think generally I'd pick whichever you like more. Where are you from and where do you want to work after school?

Both are good options. If you have no geographic preference, I'd go to the one with the cheapest COA (sounds like your numbers say this is NU). Congrats.

Thanks for the reply! I am from South Florida and would love to do Big Law in Chicago but eventually transition to in-house in Cal or work for IJM in D.C or in their field offices.

I'd probably do NU then, if Chicago biglaw is your immediate goal.
