Southern California native graduating from USC (CA) in May. Interests include international litigation/arbitration, criminal law, and public policy. Definitely want to clerk (preferable 9th Circuit bc I love the West Coast).
Choosing between Harvard, Stanford and Columbia with a Hamilton and unsure what to do!

Your interests are very broad, but if you definitely want to clerk, HS are the best options with S on the West Coast. So go to Stanford and enjoy.

Columbia with the Hamilton unless big need aid at S or super rich parents and even then prob still Columbia.
FWIW I don't think you should pick H/S for improved chances at clerkships considering it's 300K of debt to go sticker at H/S, Columbia is no slouch, and clerking is a 1-2 year job.

This is between Stanford and Hamilton. Inevitable question: if money matters at all, how much need-based aid from Stanford?

All of this.

H is out. It's between S (king of the west and clerk star) and the Hammy (raw cash) and it depends on 2 things: how much need based aid you're getting from S and if your family is loaded. Not an easy pick depending on your financial situation. Congrats on winning the cycle

Echoing the narrowing of options down to just Stanford or Hamilton. Would need more info on your COA.
Any idea what you'd like to do for a career? Your interests are a little all over the map, which is fine because they're both great schools that will give you many opportunities, but it's hard to definitely tell you which is better for X career if you don't have one in mind.
Great cycle though. Congrats!

Depending on need-based aid and ultimate debt, this.

Yeah. I mean this is assuming sticker at S. $30k/year at S would change things.

Yeah, assuming sticker at Stanford, take the Hamilton.
