Law Schools Nearby Vet Schools?

Hello,
I'm curious if anyone knows of any universities with good law programs that also have good veterinary medicine programs, or are at least nearby other schools with good vet programs (by nearby I mean around an hour or so away).
The only one I can find is maybe Duke for law and UNC for vet?
I would like to stay in a relationship with my SO, who is looking at vet programs.
Thanks!

University of Wisconsin.
Assuming that you do not freeze to death during law school, you can skip the bar exam, assuming you are willing to stay in state.

The ideal pairing would be Harvard/Tufts. After that, probably your two best options are Penn and Cornell. Then, you've got Duke and NC State (very close by, NC State is one of the best vet schools in the country) and Emory/UGA. I see no reason to go to Wisconsin Law, as it's a very regional school in an area a lot of people have no desire remaining in.

Agreed on the Wisconsin law point but NU law is about 2/3hrs away. Just depends on how near you want to be (defending my original post).

Thanks for these everyone - they are all very helpful!
Going off the point about UW's regionalness, how restrictive will my choice of law school be on where I could work after graduation?
I don't know if I want to be locked into a geographical region based on my choice...
It hasn't dawned on me that I may need to consider more than proximity in this choice (besides the obvious variables like prestige, etc.)
It's going to be tough to juggle/reconcile all of the considerations.

Is your SO considering vet schools near law schools or are you the only one making this consideration?

Virginia Law and Virginia Tech vet school (2 hrs + away)

We are both working on finding schools that best fit both of us, so it's not as if she is dead set on a school and I have to adjust accordingly. We're both willing to compromise.
Of course, there are even more constraints based on our applications. I love the Tufts/Harvard suggestion, but I'm not too confident about getting into Harvard.
On the flip side, UPenn is a good idea, but UPenn to her is a bit like Harvard to me: not impossible, but probably requires a gap year to really crush the GRE and become competitive.
Love the Michigan suggestion, will look into that further.
Thanks everyone!

That's good. I'm only suggesting this bc I live close by, but Penn State Law and its Vet school are near each other.

Penn State's not a very good law school though unless you got a huge scholarship and were fine with staying in Pennsylvania.

I'll go ahead and jump in as a crusty, old married guy really quickly.
Dude, I wouldn't be adjusting your plans for your life trajectory unless and until you've put a ring on it (or you're wearing a ring--unsure of dynamics in play here). If you're the 173+/4.0 resume-haver, you'd be doing yourself a massive disservice by turning down an offer to Harvard (hypothetically) just to go to a T1 in your SO's general vicinity. I'm all for taking into consideration your SO's location all things being equal, but hamstringing your options because 22-year-old you has a super-serious relationship with a super-awesome somebody has a high likelihood of backfiring terribly.
This is the time for your SO and yourself to work on becoming the best versions of yourselves possible. You owe it to yourself and you owe it to your future life-partner (whether it's this person or not). If you're truly "soulmates" you'll be just fine at some T14 with $$ that's a weekend plane ride away from your heart-and-soul. Promise.
Good luck.

Yeah like I said, I was only suggesting it bc I live near both the law school and vet school. OP seemed interested in Penn but was concerned about SO's chances at Penn.
OP, Penn Law and PSU's vet school wouldn't be a bad option. It's an hour and a half commute via the turnpike or an easy train ride. Idk about the prestige of PSU's vet school but I'm assuming it's not awful. The med school is pretty highly regarded around here.

Is NYU's veterinary school any good? If so you could look at NYU Law and Columbia Law.

Thanks for the advice (and I think old married guys are just the type I need to hear from!)! I take your point, and this is something we have both thought a lot about, believe me. We don't want to jeapordize either of our futures.
Again, I'm not disagreeing with you, but it might help to point out: neither she nor I are the kinds of applicants who could basically go anywhere we choose on account of our stellar apps.
Though I haven't taken the LSAT (I know it's a shame - I will post as soon as I know), I'm fairly confident I won't be scoring in the 170s (though my GPA is perfect - I'll no doubt be a splitter). (Whether I COULD score in that range is another question, which I don't know the answer to.) And she isn't breaking the top percentiles either. So it is not as if we both have all of these amazing options and are "settling" for something mediocre. Idk if that changes anything about, for what it's worth.
I hope this doesn't seem like I'm sidestepping your point, or digging my feet in despite evidence that I shouldn't be.
The way I see it, we are both trying to realize the ideal situation by working with what we have. As you said, going to a T14 with $$ far away is probably best for my future, but if it's possible, I'm hoping to find a T14 where I can get $$ and be close by my SO.
But I agree that either of us could be making a very risky move here.

I definitely agree that Penn is a good idea! And its vet school is very highly regarded from what I understand.
Their standards are a little high for my SO (not impossible, but certainly improbable).
So if it turns out that somewhere like Penn is best for both of us, we are considering taking a gap year to improve our applications and try for there.
That goes for other places as well.
Thanks!
damn grammar

I wasn't aware that NYU had a vet school!
If so, this is a great idea! (Though again I worry about my chances...)
Thanks!

Oh no...you're confusing Penn and Penn State. That'll piss off some people.
Penn STATE's vet school ( not UPenn) should be an option for your SO. Good reputation but lower admission standards than Penn. it's relatively close to Philly, where UPENN is located.

Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. I figured since he quoted my post describing PSU's vet school and mentioned how Penn's Vet school was highly regarded, he was more likely than not thinking that PSU and Penn were the same school. No biggie, I do it all the time.

Penn State does not have a vet school, fwiw. The only vet school in PA is at UPenn.
