When did you apply? Seems like your numbers are decent for admission for at least half the T14. You sure your application was polished?

Push Duke harder. They should be offering you $60k+.

Any advice on how I can push them harder? My deposit deadline for Duke is Monday. If I could get somewhere close to 60k I would probably choose them. I really dont have much leverage since no other admissions and they don't consider washu a peer ( I tried that). They say they are over budget for the year and no one will get money off wait list, but not sure if that is true or just saying that.

I'd try letting them know at what price you'd be willing to attend. If they can't/won't hit that number, wait and reapply. Did you get a stipend from WUSTL or just a full-tuition scholarship?

right now it's just full-tuition but negotiating for stipend, that would make me like WUSTL even more.

Do not attend either school with those offers. Sit out the cycle, reapply in September.

You should definitely have better options than these with your numbers. Did you apply late?

Duke sticker is closer to 300K (Not 200k according to LST)...
