With a 3.6 gpa, you're hovering 25% percentile for all T14. However, if you are confident you can increase your score to 168+, you have a shot at T14's and higher scholarship offers from T20.

If you're not in a dire rush to attend law school, I would definitely study to increase my score by a few points and attend either a T14 or a T20 with more $$. Look on LSN and see what a 3.6/168+ applicant can stretch out to. Perhaps this will give you a better idea on what is possible with just a few more points.

Just signed up to retake in June.

Really hoping this is the right move.

You can also retake, get your score, then decide whether to attend or not based on that score. Really not much of a downside.
That's what I was thinking; it's why I picked the June LSAT over the September. I'm just going to study full-time over this next month or so.

That's not a bad idea, I might actually do the same. Although a month isn't much study time, but I like the possibility of potentially still enrolling if your score doesn't change much.

If you are retaking in June to enroll this cycle, it is probably too late unless you're retaking for the sole purpose of coming off waitlist. Scholarship money will be depleted -- you may still receive a little more $ but don't bank on this. Having said this, I would recommend taking your time and preparing for the next cycle by taking the Sept LSAT instead of cramming this next month. This way you can apply early when applications open and ensure scholarship money and a better outcome, barring you don't score lower on your LSAT.

I think the idea is to get your score so you can make a more informed decision as to wether or not you want to forgo law school for a year, or enroll this year. Not to get more money or get off a wait list. I completely agree that September probably makes a lot more sense though and gives you a lot more time.

I'm using this LSAT as a double measure.

If I don't score high enough, I have both the option of just enrolling in a school if I truly don't believe I could do better and, on the other hand, take the September LSAT if I feel the opposite.

If I score high enough, I'll just reapply right when the apps open up in September. That provides a slight advantage as well.

I have two takes on the LSAT left, so I figure I can't go wrong by taking the June.

Sounds good. I just didn't want you to rush the June LSAT. Good luck and don't burn yourself out this coming month.
