I appreciate everyone's input! Realized I shouldn't ask the Internet to weigh my options for me (maybe I need a life coach :P )

This will be much easier if you tell us what the T20 school is. Not all T20 schools are equal, and it will give us an idea of how well Michigan places in that market

Above is TCR, need to kinda know which top 20 school, but based on this line

I'm not sure you would really want to stay in that market unless you want to work there long term since its presumably a regional.

ETA: money is on it being Iowa if you aren't wanting to stay. clearly its UT. What are ties to other areas and what is your goal market?

This isn't even close. Michigan. You might turn down a Darrow for HYS but that's about it. Enjoy Ann Arbor.

^ Dean Z?

FWIW: if you want to stay in the region you're currently in long-term, then I say choose the T20. If you want flexibility and a national reach, choose UMich.

...or any of the other T12 named scholarships? A full-ride to a school like UCLA if you wanted to work in SoCal, or UT if you want to work in Texas would also be justifiable.

But ya, given this — "I don't especially want to remain in the area I'm from long-term, and this school really doesn't feed to employers nationally" — I think in this case OP should definitely take the Darrow. You should suck it up and make the smart long-term choice

Does UT do full-ride + stipends? My guess was WUSTL since they throw those around.
FWIW I don't think they do but that's the only other admitted thread OP has been in
