Berkeley or Georgetown

I'd like some help deciding between Berkeley and Georgetown. I am from the east coast and went to school in the south. I'll be financing school through my family and personal savings. The difference in COA is substantial, but I'm wondering if the education I'd receive at Berkeley is worth the difference in cost. Will I be in a better position to land a federal clerkship or more coveted PI job?

Total COA at each
Berkeley - 223k
Georgetown - 168k

GPA - 4.0
LSAT - 168 (taken 1 time)

I'd like to work in PI or possibly public policy, and I am not wedded to any in particular geographic location. I appreciate any input you may have. Thanks. Also in case anyone is interested, watlisted: Harvard, Penn, UVA, and Chicago

Neither.

If I were in your position I would sit out and reassess. It seems to me that you underperformed your numbers.

168 is decent but coupled with your 4.0 your options should be better than Georgetown or Berkeley for ~200K.

That much debt at either school is a bad decision IMO.

Some people will tell you to retake, which I think is credited. Get a 170 and enjoy H/lower T-14 with a full ride.
