How are the cultures at Stanford and Harvard different?

Not that I actually have this decision to make haha. I'm in at HLS and thinking about sending a LOCI to SLS committing to attend if accepted.

I feel like I would definitely like the small class size and warmer weather more and would probably get about the same financial aid. I'm interested in PI and clerkships so from what I've read on past threads, HLS and SLS are about the same for employment prospects.

But it seems like someone in all of the past threads says the culture is a lot different at HLS and SLS. I probably won't visit SLS since I haven't gotten in, so I'm wondering if anyone could try to explain what's so different about them?

I have similar interests to you, and I'm also in at HLS but still waiting on Stanford. I've been wondering the exact same thing. Have heard that Yale is similar to Stanford, and Harvard is different than both Y/S. I know it partially has to do with the size of the law school, but I'm not sure what else.

I doubt the "culture" is that different (full of annoying gunners), but their locations are pretty different. If I had this choice, I'd choose SLS but I'm also a West Coaster and I like Palo Alto a lot more than any East Coast city/town, including Cambridge.
