Hey first time poster, I'm a Finance undergrad at a state school looking to live in Los Angeles out of law school to practice corporate biglaw. Obviously I'm aware the T14 are the best schools for biglaw although UCLA and USC have the local reach. I'm just wondering what non L.A. schools were best? Would Northwestern or Michigan get me the west coast? Would Berkeley be close enough that it could tap into the L.A. market? I appreciate anyone who has any relevant information.

Berk, SLS, UCLA, USC.

YHS and Columbia do well on West Coast. So does Michigan, where ~ 15% of my class is going to California.
