I can't get specific at this point, but I'll drop some hints after I confirm a couple of the more intriguing leaks.KiltedKicker wrote:Why?rpupkin wrote:USNWR will release the 2017 ranking during the second or third week of March. Expect some major shake-ups this year.
Doing this to someone whose avatar is Charlie Brown seems a little too easy.rpupkin wrote:I can't get specific at this point, but I'll drop some hints after I confirm a couple of the more intriguing leaks.KiltedKicker wrote:Why?rpupkin wrote:USNWR will release the 2017 ranking during the second or third week of March. None taken. My avatar definitely set that one up, hopefully it's coincidence thoughWinterComing wrote:

ETA: No disrespect intended, Kilted.
You're freakin me out man lol. I'm confused, how would you know this? Do you work for US News?rpupkin wrote:USNWR will release the 2017 ranking during the second or third week of March. Expect some major shake-ups this year.
I thought the T14 was constant? There's no way I can see UT/Vandy/UCLA surpassing Penn or UVA (although their school employment gaming is ridiculous)? If a school can go from #7 to #14+ in a year, then there's no telling if any of these degrees will be worth more than cheap tp in the next couple of decades. I'm probably overacting based on the overemphasis put on USNWR rankings, but damn.jbagelboy wrote:Rumor has it Penn is dropping out of the T14KiltedKicker wrote:Why?rpupkin wrote:USNWR will release the 2017 ranking during the second or third week of March. Or wait, was it Virginia?

I do not work for US News, but I have a couple of connections on the inside.Cochran wrote:You're freakin me out man lol. I'm confused, how would you know this? T14 does not change. But based on the information I have, one of the major shake-ups involves two of the schools you mentioned.Cochran wrote:Well on that note, any predictions?
My guess is that NU, Duke, and Cornell will all move up; Berk, UVA, and Mich going down a peg or two (none of these schools changing too drastically).
I'd say Mich gets knocked as opposed to UVA, their employment stats have been shaky recentlyCochran wrote:Well on that note, any predictions?

New year, same old rpupkin.rpupkin wrote:I do not work for US News, but I have a couple of connections on the inside.Cochran wrote:You're freakin me out man lol. Any word on movement of H and S? I'm trying to decide between the two and the USNews ranking will most likely end up determining which one I pick. I don't think I could bear the shame of depositing at Stanford only to have it fall below Harvard in the rankings.rpupkin wrote:I do not work for US News, but I have a couple of connections on the inside.Cochran wrote:You're freakin me out man lol. Stanford's Class of 2018 LSAT median is the same as Columbia's, and Columbia has a better BL%. You do the math.QuentonCassidy wrote:Any word on movement of H and S?
