Top Law Schools

I am interested in pursuing a career in Environmental Law. Received my Master's in Environmental Studies last year. Have undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies.
Have been accepted so far to Tulane w/$30k per year scholarship, Lewis & Clark w/ $24k per year and Maryland w/$25k per year.
Waitlisted at GW and Minnesota. Rejected by ND.
Thoughts?

I do get the joke, but it's off with respect to environmental law. There are PI jobs, regulatory jobs, and even big-law jobs (if you count Energy) within this field.

In order to receive the best feedback in this forum, please provide as much of the following information in your original post as possible:

-The total Cost of Attendance (COA) of each. COA = cost of tuition + fees + books + cost of living (COL) + accumulated interest - scholarships.
-How you will be financing your COA, i.e. loans, family, or savings
-Where you are from and where you want to work, and other places where you have significant ties (if any)
-Your LSAT/GPA numbers
-How many times you have taken the LSAT

-From Southern California, but have not applied to any law schools there because I want a change of pace. Would like to work initially in D.C. area but am flexible and open to living and working in other parts of the country; have relatives in Portland.
-LSAT 161/GPA 3.6

Retake the LSAT. None of these schools give you a good chance of making more than 60k and you will be in far more debt than that at all of them.

You need to retake the LSAT. Please, listen to this advice. If you bump up your score just 4 points (165), you are looking at full rides for these schools listed and superior schools accepting you. Also, I am perplexed with your "scholarships are an added bonus" comment. I am sorry, but what the hell are you talking about? So, since you have savings and family financial support, you would rather not retake the LSAT with the potential to save you and your family anywhere from 40-80k? Please clarify this for me.

Furthermore, you need to figure out where you want to practice. I am sorry, but the whole "I just want to go to a new place" for law school is silly, unless you are choosing between T14 schools, then not as much. If you are looking at regional schools (which you are), you should be applying where you are from/familiar. This makes you more attractive in terms of being employed in the region of the law school.

Also, these schools are not going to do you any favors in gaining employment in D.C.
