Top Law Schools

Hi all - I'm looking to make a decision between these schools (GW ($60k), Fordham ($75k), UCI ($75k), UW (?), Seton Hall(full-ride)) and just don't know which way to go. I know most of you will say retake and go T14, but I can't retake the LSAT anymore. Still waiting on a couple T14 (waitlisted at GULC and UCLA). I'm not excited about big law, but plan to try for a medium to large firm in whatever city I'm in at first - though I have interests in public service and international public law for later. I have ties to DC (undergrad), Seattle (family), Orange county (family), and NYC (live there now), and would love to live in any of them. I just want a degree that will set me up for a diverse career in international business and eventually public service work.

UW, UCI, and Seton hall I could live with family. UW seems to be the most affordable option (if they give scholarship) and I would love to live in Seattle, but their scholly decisions aren't made until March. GW is highest ranked, so maybe that's the best bet? It's just a big school so I may get lost in the crowd. Curious what you all think.

What do you mean by international business? If it is not law, maybe you should get an MBA. Don't even know what international public law is.

That said if it is law, then the only international business on the law side is in big law. Which none of these schools give you a great chance at and you don't really want so you need to think more about what you want. If by public service work you are ok with being an ADA or something like that, then Washington if you get a good scholarship or even Seton Hall with a full ride, if you're cool being in NJ isn't bad.

The other three are just too expensive at those prices for what they likely would deliver.

My interests are mostly around international arbitration (commercial & governments) so I was thinking GW would be best for international connections. But I like the atmosphere at UW best - and their potential scholarships could be a lot higher.
