Choosing a school

Post by DJChirco » Fri Jan 15, 2016 3:08 pm

Hi everyone,
I am new to this site and this is my first post. I graduated college with a 3.35 even though I really didn't try to hard in anything. I am currently in graduate school and maintain a 4.0. I have decided that I want to attend law school. With this being said I am prepping for the LSATs and looking at schools throughout the Northeast. Does anyone have any advice when picking a school? I want to attend a school in a city rather than a rural community like my college was. I understand that the test needs to come first, just trying to get a jump on it!

Thanks!

Pick a school that you want to attend that places people in the jobs that you hope to do with your JD...

step 1: identify what you want to do with your JD
step 2: identify schools in the location you want to attend. (USNWR ranking is a good place to get a feel for desirability of school choices)
step 3: identify if the schools can put you re: step 1
