LSAT Sophomore Year?(non-traditional student)

I'm currently active duty army with approx. one year left. I attend a smaller D1 university near base part time. Current ~3.7 with only struggle in statistics. Will be attending college full time Fall 2016. Interested in law school and looking at taking LSAT February 2016 as would be taking leave from from Mid December to Mid January and would have ample study time. Scored a 159 on first diagnostic with LG being weakest section. Will be 22 years old when I begin school full-time. Any advice?

Do not take the LSAT if you're PTing at 159.

A diagnostic of 159 is different than PTing a 159. A diagnostic of a 159 is actually pretty good. I don't think there's anything wrong with taking it early as long as you take plenty of practice tests and it doesn't affect your studies. But cancel the test if you're not seeing significant improvement on your practice tests
