Northwestern Work experience

Hi, I recently graduated and wanted to try to take the plunge to go to law school. I took the LSAT and scored a 177 which really surprised me because I didn't think I prepared that well for it. But my UGPA is a low 2.4. I know that they really like to have work experience and I was wondering if there was a specific type of work they wanted. Right now I am doing private tutoring and working at a pharmacy. I don't know if this would be applicable or if they want more specific work. Does anyone have any insight?

Also, as medians plunge, Northwestern has lessened some of its emphasis on work experience as a true requirement; now it's more of a campus culture soundbite.
Yeah im at there now. Plenty of people come straight through and most people have just whatever work experience. AJDs and JD-MBAs are the exceptions. Those folks will typically have impressive backgrounds.

Well if that's the case I have much work experience prior to graduation in a variety of areas. Intellectual and manual labor. Will my keep me 100% out? I know it's really just speculation but anything would help.

Part time work and summer internships as a college student are not work experience.

Thanks. But what about gpa? Does the LSAT help at all?

Of course the LSAT helps, but the further you distance yourself from your poor undergraduate record (meaning, several years out of school working), the more chance you have at getting into a school like Northwestern.

Again thanks. Do you happen to have any knowledge as to whether a phd with a chem undergrad would be necessary if I was planning to go to law school?

what? no of course you don't need a chemistry degree or a ph.d to go to law school. I won't answer any more troll questions.
