This should be in the transfer thread. But main question is where do you want to do corporate? UChicago is probably the right answer

Not sure why this is an inappropriate thread...given the explanation of the thread is "Choosing a Law School
(Rankings, Profiles, Tuition, Student Life, . . . ) "

But anyways, the "where" no preference.

It's not inappropriate, but yes it should be in the transfer forum.

Anyways if you literally have no preference, Chicago is a no brainer.

/thread

I guess I'm just hesitant about living in Chicago, and that's the only city I don't want to work in.....

Then why didn't you say that? Ugh.

Why would you be hesitant about living in Chicago?

And great, then get a job in NYC like a large amount of the class.

I never understand how someone can have no preference to where they live.

Well, personally, I haven't experienced much of the world at this point in my life. That being said I do have general preferences, such as the more cultural cities in the country. But I can see justifiably being torn between the Bay Area and Chicago.

OP: Did you choose?

I have no preference where I live. Have only lived in the South. Haven't lived in the North or the West. Wouldn't mind trying it to see if I like it.

OP got into Harvard so I think that might change his/her decision some.

I initially didn't, until I went to a place I later dreaded to do my UG.

Well yeah, because everyone that "has no preference" just has no preference b/c they're naive.
