UPDATE NU at 165k, Michigan at 150K, Cornell at 150K

So update. I was originally deciding between NU at 165 k and Michigan at 150K, but recently have an offer of 150k from Cornell. Curious what the opinions are on this new development.
Re-take and re-apply are also still options. If I'm being very honest/transparent the dream is HYS, but I also recognize dreams aren't necessarily practical and these options may be the best bet.

Both are totally defensible. I'd take Northwestern because its biglaw placement has been stronger in recent years but the difference isn't so big that you'd be crazy to choose Michigan if you really prefer it.

Great options; can't go wrong with either choice! Congrats!
(I'd also take NU)

Northwestern is the better choice for biglaw placement, but either option seems reasonable. NU & Michigan offer very different environments--so it may come down to personal preference. Great results based on your two LSAT scores of 168.
P.S. Was your masters in education policy from Harvard ?

The employment numbers are close enough that I think the price difference perfectly balances it out.
Either choice is great, so which school do you like better? They seem to be very different places.

I like NU and the location is obviously wonderful, but there are aspects I am not completely in love with and as someone wanting to do litigation as opposed to transactional, I'm not sure how that would factor in. As for Michigan, I've never been and have no idea how I feel about the school. Could anyone take a stab at describing the culture?

This would be an Ann Arbor vs. Chicago decision driven by personal preference for me.

How long before you have to make the decision? Can you visit?

+1 - I also picked NU over Michigan at a 15k price difference (but with much smaller scholarships than you have)
