Attend this year or re-apply?

Hi,
So, I 've been contemplating my options and have nailed it down to the following:
NU with 165k scholly
Duke (scholarship TBD)
Wait and Re-apply next year.
I have also been wait-listed at Harvard, UVA, Berkeley, U Penn and Michigan. The problem is that I applied after taking the Feb. LSAT and most of my apps didn't go complete until the second week of March and there are a number of schools I still haven't heard back from. Stats are 168 (taken twice), 3.87 and softs being TFA and a D1 Sport.
Ultimately, I would hope to do big law in an east coast city (preferably NYCor Boston) or Chicago and possibly a clerkship. Eventually, I would also like to maybe transition into some policy related work.
So, my dilemma comes down to should I take NU at pretty much debt-free or wait and re-apply and hope for HYS or CCN? I have also been accepted into a one year masters program at Harvard, and am contemplating doing that in the interim if I choose the latter option.
Just curious what others would do in this situation or if the advantage of a T-6 school would be worth waiting and re-applying? Perhaps even re-taking the LSAT (yay)?

If you are just trying to do big law, Northwestern at debt free sounds like a great option.

I say big law, but I would also be interested in not limiting myself and keeping options open at the outset.

If you are trying to do big law, why the one year master's?

In what academic discipline is the master's degree program ? Will this MA degree further your career goals & therefore strengthen your subsequent law school applications ?
Based on the info. in your post, Northwestern with a full tuition scholarship is a great option. With a 168 LSAT, what else are you hoping for ?

I think NU with that scholarship is a great outcome with your stats. I wouldn't risk loosing this by reapplying.

If you had a 178 instead of a 168 I might say reapply, but with those numbers you aren't going to get substantially better offers next year so I'd take the money.

If reapplying, could consider retaking depending on where OP was PTing. But I'm also not sure if substantially better offers are really that substantial. Does a Dillard or even a Ruby carry that much more weight than full-ride at NU (honestly no idea)?

Congrats on the great outcome for your numbers.
I'd cash in your chips and go to Northwestern.

I'd take that over HYS at sticker any of the week. Aside from a full ride from any other school and HYS with max aid, you shouldnt turn down that offer.

Really? I would definitely take Yale at sticker over a full ride at NU any day of the week. The luxury of not having to worry about grades, having an amazing LRAP program to fall back on and being able to be competitive for the top firms and clerkships simply because you went to Yale is worth 200k.

Yeah, I get my numbers aren't the best and I am definitely willing to consider a retake if I were to wait and reapply. And the masters is in Ed policy.
