Want to work in Chicago or California.

Interested in child law, criminal law, public interest. I will be taking out loans to cover COA. Currently live in Chicago, family in St. Louis, gf's family is in CA.

Cost of attending: add $20k or so for living expenses to each of these. Could be cheaper for certain place because I am thrifty

LSAT: 168 and 164, GPA: 3.42

WUSTL: $38k per year scholarship
Illinois (UIUC): Full Tuition
Notre Dame: $27k per year. I have already done the scholarship appeal-only went up 2k from 25k. That was before I got the full ride at UIUC. I don't know if that will make a difference though.

Also, just for kicks, got a full ride at Loyola Chicago and also at St. Louis University

Thanks

In order to receive feedback in this forum, please provide all the following:

-The schools you are considering
-The total Cost of Attendance (COA) of each. COA = cost of tuition + fees + books + cost of living (COL) + accumulated interest - scholarships.
-How you will be financing your COA, i.e. loans, family, or savings
-Where you are from and where you want to work, and other places where you have significant ties (if any)
-Your general career goals
-Your LSAT/GPA numbers
-How many times you have taken the LSAT

You've got some of that stuff there but we need all of it and in that order will be helpful.

Answer those questions, but I'm sure UIUC is going to be your best option.

For sure

I stopped reading at the WUSTL scholarship thing but yeah, UIUC all the way

I'd go ahead and drop the CA thing though just for the sake of realistic expectations
