UNC vs. Loyola Chicago

I received almost a full tuition scholarship at Loyola (would owe approx. $5K + cost of living in chicago at the end of 3 years). I would love to live and work in chicago but I am worried about the saturated market and the job placement of Loyola. UNC would cost more (would owe approx. $30K + cost of living in chapel hill at the end of 3 years) and has better job placement. I would rather live in Chicago and have some ties to the area. I have no ties to NC. Is UNC worth the $30K debt? Is Loyola worth attending? Any advice would be much appreciated!

if you have no ties to NC nor any burning desire to be there then there is really no reason you should be considering them.

Loyola at that debt might be OK. Maybe.

But we can't help you without more information.
-The schools you are considering
-The total Cost of Attendance (COA) of each. COA = cost of tuition + fees + books + cost of living (COL) + accumulated interest - scholarships. Here is a helpful calculator.
-How you will be financing your COA, i.e. loans, family, or savings
-Where you are from and where you want to work, and other places where you have significant ties (if any)
-Your general career goals
-Your LSAT/GPA numbers
-How many times you have taken the LSAT

want to do PI law, live in TN now (so UNC is close and wouldn't mind living in NC, just prefer a more urban area)
other schools I applied to-
Vanderbilt (WL)
Northwestern (rejected, not surprisingly)

I was 162LSAT/3.4GPA

The $5K @ Loyola and the $30K @ UNC would be student loans plus housing/COL

Go ahead and use this calculator to figure out your cost of attendance at both schools:
