The Relief of Making a Final Decision

The decision making process is pretty stressful. Very relieved to have made a decision. Do/did others feel the relief once they make a decision?

Not in the same boat bc for me, a waitlist would be a rejection to me. I only was considering schools that I got $$$ and you aren't going to get $$$ off a waitlistKMart wrote:Even when I do make a deposit, all the WLs looming still make me uncertain if where I deposited will be the absolute final destination for me. It will!Eladriel wrote:I hope it gives me some relief when I finally make that decision.
what did you end up deciding?itascot1992 wrote:The decision making process is pretty stressful. Very relieved to have made a decision. Do/did others feel the relief once they make a decision?

Taking the full- no stip- Scholly at Villanova. Found good housing and have good summer employment lined up. Will hopefully be able to save enough to take out anywhere from 2.5k or less my first year for CoL in loans.zombie mcavoy wrote:what did you end up deciding?itascot1992 wrote:The decision making process is pretty stressful. That's not true. People get money from waitlists.itascot1992 wrote:Not in the same boat bc for me, a waitlist would be a rejection to me. Would not have been enough for me, when i say $$$ (3 dollar signs) I'm talking 75% tuition at leastWinston1984 wrote:That's not true. Probably less likely, but still possible to get big scholarships. Spivey had a client that was waitlisted at UChi, then got a ruby.itascot1992 wrote:Would not have been enough for me, when i say $$$ (3 dollar signs) I'm talking 75% tuition at leastWinston1984 wrote:That's not true. It's definitely not that uncommon (for a full ride, yes much more so). But you can also look at LSN and see people getting decent money off the waitlists at Duke for example. Also, there's not really a con to staying on the waitlist anyway.JohannDeMann wrote:With all due respect that's the same anecdotal shit of a third tier toilet grad getting cravath. It's meaningless and should be ignored.
Maybe it isn't $$$ but I got 60K off the wait list at UVA which is decent-ish. I think some people who had been wait listed eventually got fullys at WUSTL my cycle. I agree, money off the wait list isn't that uncommonWinston1984 wrote:It's definitely not that uncommon (for a full ride, yes much more so).
