Duke. The lower cost of living for Durham vs DC over 3 years pretty much negates the 20k difference between GULC and Duke.

I would cross UCLA off that list. Because you want NYC/DC, I would probably take Vandy off too (although that's a really good price for Vandy). I think Duke is TCR here. If you were wanting to work in the deep south, Vandy would be a great option too.

I think the recent job data has definitely given Duke (for 20k more) a leg up over Gtown.

I agree that crossing UCLA off the list (unless you'd be happy with an outcome of working in CA) is the next step. Duke may be the best option overall.

I think I'd roll with Vandy here, I don't think Duke is worth paying 80K more
