Where Law Faculty Went to Law School (List of Top Schools)

Interesting that this only weakly correlates with the rankings:

I. Ranking by "Per Capita" Number of Graduates in Law Teaching ("per capita" here really means the total number of graduates divided by the average size of a recent graduating class rounded to the nearest 25)

In what way does this only weakly correlate with the rankings? 17 of the 20 schools listed are ranked in the top 20.

uhhhh, yeah, don't need to run a t-test here to see that this is a pretty strong correlation. Pretty interesting BU is so high

There's not a lot of hiring over a 6 year period, so a 2009 list should still be by and large an accurate representation of the field.

oh I agree, I just don't really understand why this is presented as new information, this is at least the third thread presenting this leiter numbers on TLS since they came out
