South Florida Legal Market and How Much To Pay

I know that I want to work in South Florida, I have strong ties to the region (went to undergrad here and family is moving down), my question is what law schools make sense and at what price points? I assume that it only makes sense to go to UM, UF, Duke and UVA, I know I'm out of HYSCCN contention, are there any other schools that I should look into like Emory and Vandy?

Kind of impossible to say in the abstract.

What kind of job are you looking to get?

Big law>>mid law>>>>>boutique
I did two summer analyst positions in IB (M&A and generalist including equity and debt capital markets) and now I'm in management consulting (Pharma) so my preference would be either corporate litigation or transactional. I could also consider IP, I had a BS in bio.

What's your GPA? You just made a thread talking about your 160 diagnostic and asking if 175 is attainable. If you get a 175+, NYU and Columbia are hardly out of the picture even if you are a splitter.

Honestly, your current job sounds pretty good and I wouldn't leave it for less than a T13 at a bargain (significantly less than sticker) price if I were you.
There is way too much risk involved with attending law schools in Florida, so you shouldn't bank on practicing biglaw (or really any law) if you go there.
You should also know that the Florida legal market is notoriously hard to crack so you shouldn't bank on returning to practice there even if you get great grades at a T13.

You don't even have an LSAT score yet? Just focus on that

If you want big law I'd forget about the state of Florida. It's a wasteland, no jobs to be had and your ties likely won't be perceived as strong enough. NYC is where you should focus on IMO.
