Would you recommend this school with significant money for government/PI goals? As opposed to T25 or T14 for sticker

There is really no T25 distinction.

It depends. We need to know more. How much debt total at repayment, including cost of attendance?

I see your location says MD--are you from there and want to work there?

When you say gov't job, do you mean in MD or feds in DC?

MD is particularly bad when you weigh employment vs "ranking".

re: government, it doesn't place well at all. Just too much competition.

re: PI, Knew a top third MD bro who clerked and said that just as many if not more Baltimore grads end up doing PI. Ended up hanging his own shingle. It's rough for a Maryland Law grad out there. Goes quadruply for American so don't even think of that nonsense.

If you've got the numbers for Maryland with scholly: (3.6ish 163ish ?) you're a retake away from Splitter Friendly$/strong regional$$$$/GW$$$/GULC$.

OP's numbers are 166/3.4
I don't know any specifics about Maryland but if I were you, I wouldn't go there. Aim higher. I'm not saying paying sticker for other schools is smart either though. A few more LSAT points can really change your life so definitely consider a retake.

I applied because they gave me a fee waiver, but I kinda want my report fee back after reading more about it lol.

MD doesn't release scholarship (merit or need) info until u complete the FAFSA which is available in 2015. But in speaking with different people I'm anticipating some sort of scholarship plus in state so its a lot cheaper than higher ranked schools regardless.

Also retook the LSAT and got lower even with more effective/efficient studying so not really keen on going for round 3. Would much prefer to weigh my options and if I don't get any good options, study hard for the June one instead of trying to balance school and studying for December and then being out of retakes.

Also 3.4ish / 166.
