How many schools people apply to on average?

Apply to every T14 where your numbers give you even the slightest chance of admission. You have nothing to lose by blanketing. If the app fee is a hardship, tell the schools and they'll typically waive it, if they didn't automatically.Gregjames wrote:How many schools people apply to on average?

nobody said anything even remotely suggesting this. what?Gregjames wrote:Do all T14 schools really worth it? e.g is Penn and Michigan on equal par? Do they really have same cache as Harvard or Yale? I don't think so.
someone suggested applying to all T14 schoolsxylocarp wrote:nobody said anything even remotely suggesting this. what?Gregjames wrote:Do all T14 schools really worth it? e.g is Penn and Michigan on equal par? Do they really have same cache as Harvard or Yale? I don't think so.
that doesn't mean that all T14's are of equal worthGregjames wrote:someone suggested applying to all T14 schoolsxylocarp wrote:nobody said anything even remotely suggesting this. what?Gregjames wrote:Do all T14 schools really worth it? e.g is Penn and Michigan on equal par? On the off chance that you are not a troll, then no. Not all T14 are "equal." The point of applying broadly is to increase your chances of scholarships and your ability to leverage additional funds.Gregjames wrote:Do all T14 schools really worth it? e.g are Penn and Michigan on equal par? Also you may end up changing your mind so it's good to have plenty of options. I learned a lot about law schools through the process and ended up somewhere that wasn't really on my radar when I submitted.ymmv wrote:On the off chance that you are not a troll, then no. Troll.Gregjames wrote:So if you want to apply to 5 schools out of the T14, which ones would u apply to and why?
you wouldn't get into any school worth applying toGregjames wrote:So if you want to apply to 5 schools out of the T14, which ones would u apply to and why?

Totally dependent on score.Gregjames wrote:So if you want to apply to 5 schools out of the T14, which ones would u apply to and why?
Because I am in the process of choosing law schools and applying to them. but u why are you here?? Nothing better to do?Will_McAvoy wrote:He has made like a thousand threads and four alts this monthymmv wrote:Troll.Gregjames wrote:So if you want to apply to 5 schools out of the T14, which ones would u apply to and why?
Is there a ranking of schools that have the most OCI firms, or highest number of firms coming to campus?Dirigo wrote:Totally dependent on score.Gregjames wrote:So if you want to apply to 5 schools out of the T14, which ones would u apply to and why?
Someone who scores a 165 should (besides retake) hit Georgetown, Cornell, Northwestern, Michigan, Penn (hypothetical list)
Someone with a 175 should hit Harvard, Columbia, Chicago, NYU, Touro.
You should just look at employment numbers for different schools. Concern over the number of firms at OCI is rather tangential.Gregjames wrote:Is there a ranking of schools that have the most OCI firms, or highest number of firms coming to campus?Dirigo wrote:Totally dependent on score.Gregjames wrote:So if you want to apply to 5 schools out of the T14, which ones would u apply to and why?

Judging by the syntax of this post, I don't think you're really going to be looking at any T14 schools.Gregjames wrote:Do all T14 schools really worth it? e.g are Penn and Michigan on equal par? Do they really have same cache as Harvard or Yale? I don't think so.

Still not on ratfuckers lvl.ilikebaseball wrote:This guy has single handedly made like 5 threads in the past 24 hours.
this is a really nuanced question, and the answer is going to be different for everybody. Michigan has almost 340 more seats in their library than Penn, BUT Penn has higher employment numbers. so it comes down to each individual and their prioritiesGregjames wrote:Ok, so personally which one would choose Penn or Michigan? and why?
