Retake for more money at SMU/UH. If you want Patent biglaw in Texas only look at UT to which you'll still need to retake to make it affordable.

You'd almost assuredly need a masters or doctorate to do any biochem patent prosecution. You could do lit,but then again so can someone without the degree you have.

Even for lit, it's pretty difficult (well, not as easy as you think) with just a biochem degree and no work experience
