Does it control its local market?
How is it viewed in Miami, and outside Miami?

UF if private sector, FSU if public service. UM isn't held in high regard, even for Miami prospects.

But FL legal jobs are a shit show. There are at least like 5 too many schools in the state. There are really few jobs anywhere in the state aside from Miami, esp BigLaw jobs. Plus it seems like Miami firms want actual Miami and not just Fl ties. And to get Biglaw from a FL school you need to be up there in your class.

They say Vandy, Emory, UVA, and Duke all place decently into Florida. I have no personal experience there.

This topic has been beaten to death though, so using the search function may be helpful.
