Boston University; How is Boston law regarded?
Academically and careers wise.
I hope I dont see the usual suspects here.

The OP can avoid taking the LSAT if he goes there.

Then why would you consider Chicago-Kent?
And seriously putting this all in one thread that you update would make more sense than posting lots of separate threads.

Why should not I consider it? whats wrong with Chicago kent?
I consider it because they would give me one year advanced standing.

Do you want to work in Chicago? What kind of job do you want to get after you graduate? Does Chicago-Kent place students into those kinds of jobs? How much would it cost? What about Chicago-Kent makes it a good option besides the advanced standing issue?

I am gonna apply to Northwestern, U of Chicago, Emory, maybe GW, so also its good to have backup options like Chicago-Kent.

It would help, though, if you could answer questions about where you want to work and what you want to do, as well as how you intend to pay for school.

My main priority; is to get the JD and Bar. I hope during those two years of school the picture would become more clear regarding work.

It's pointless to ask for opinions regarding an impossible hypothetical situation. Money is not going to be equal. If it is equal, you can easily just look up the employment stats and that will tell you all you need to know about the two schools. Moreover, soliciting opinions on these schools is doubly pointless until you have an LSAT/GPA to work with. Even a practice test LSAT score would be better than nothing.
Without knowing what caliber candidate you are and how much money you're going to spend, there's no way to answer any of your questions.
Basically you're asking us "What do you think about buying a house in Boston? DC? Miami? Chicago? Houston?" and then refusing to tell us if you want to live in any of these cities, what your budget is, where your job allows you to move, what style of house you're looking for, what neighborhood in each city are you looking to move to, etc. It's a meaningless question.

FruitCake; if we have a general discussion about the attributes of different schools in general; someone else might benefit from such info. Someone Who doesn't have info about that school or city. So its not just about one person i.e the o.p -however great that person is ...i.e ME. Therefore; don't be such a tight indoctrinated thing.
Think outside the box..

Thanks for the advice, but I'm going to completely ignore it and instead shoot off on an irrational tangent because deep down I think everyone knows that I'm not serious about law school. My GPA is shit and I don't even know what the LSAT is so how can I report my "score" ? I'm on this site creating threads so I can create the illusion of doing my due diligence in applying to law school by nominally doing "research" on TLS but I'm not going to actually do anything that will enhance my chances at law school such as taking the LSAT.
Oh, ok Greg. Well, more power to you. I think Harvard is a better school than BU. You should go to Harvard.
