What are ones chances of getting a big law job in Texas coming out of Fordham law?

Effectively zero I would imagine.

Why would you contemplate going to a school in NY (that's not a T14) if you were trying to get a job in TX?

Abysmal. Your odds of NYC BigLaw from Fordham are bad, and things only go sharply downhill from there.

Many Texas employers won't know Fordham from Hofstra, and even if they do, they'll hold it in lower esteem than UT (obviously), SMU, UH, and even Baylor and Texas Tech. Fordham doesn't mean anything to anyone outside of the NYC area, and even there almost any applicant applying wisely will have better options, due to Fordham's tremendous tightfistedness with scholarship money.

I was looking at Fordham last cycle and had enough people that currently attend PM me telling me not to go, even for NYC. For Texas, I don't see how Fordham would make any sense.
