Thoughts on Washington and Lee

Post by life2323 » Thu Jul 24, 2014 12:50 pm

I was recently accepted off the wait list from Washington & Lee with a 15,000 scholarship. Would you all say that is a decent deal? Why did Washington & Lee drop in the rankings? Do you all see them rising up in the rankings again? I have no ties to the area. I have ties to Texas. I am below both 25 percentiles.

Rankings don't matter

W&L has crappy employment outcomes

Also the scholarship sucks

Also you don't have ties to the area

Don't go there; retake LSAT

Don't go to W&L unless you can go for free. The employment opportunities are awful, especially since you have no ties to the area. I understand going to a school in Virginia even with no ties, but not W&L. Rankings don't matter, but theirs will not be going up unless they start hiring their own graduates (i.e. Emory). Also, there's nothing to do in Lexington.

Retake the LSAT.
