Neither. Retake or don't go to law school.

If it's 66k total COA then wustl. If it's 66k cost of tuition then retake

NW at sticker is probably going to be a bad decision. UMN and WUSTL have similar profiles, but WUSTL has a more national reputation.
WUSTL: Beautiful campus, gorgeous law building, prestigious name.
Minny: B1G School, better social life, more stuff to do, however the law building is meh and the winters are brutal
Most people here will tell you that either school is too expensive at 66k, but that's really up to you. After you factor in COL and interest, your loan payments will be about $16-1700/month for ten years.
If it were me I'd choose WUSTL because I already had the Big Ten experience. However if I went to a smaller school for UG I'd probably choose Minnesota.
How much scholarship $$ did UIUC, ND, and Iowa give you? Those schools are all on par with WUSTL and UMN. I know lots of people had huge $$$$ to UIUC this year.

it is 22000 per year...so 66000 in total ... I am really torn..I don't think I can retake.. So, any advice?

Thanks for your help! how would that matter? could you please explain? I think this is an award covering 66 K cost of tuition.

Don't go to law school then. Wouldn't be financially prudent. Do something else.

We've told you Northwestern at sticker is a bad idea and WUSTL for 1/3 off is a bad idea too.
And UMN for Cali or anywhere besides Minnesota for 1/3 off is an even worse idea.
Get better options. You have your answer for now.

1) read the sticky before posting -
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=206299
you're asking us to take time out of our day to consider your situation and offer advice; the least you can do is give us the information we need to do so
2) do not create multiple threads on the same topic. one is enough. when new information arises, edit your original post to reflect it.

Most people at NU pay sticker or near sticker, most don't regret it.

This is terrible advice that is utterly unsupported. OP, you need to retake. These are both poor options. At Northwestern, you have roughly a 60% chance of scoring the type of job that MIGHT let you pay off this outrageous debt. As I said in another thread, would you walk into a casino and bet a quarter million on a 60% shot? There's literally no difference, except that the casino's payout would be more sure. WUSTL-UMN might be worth it for free. Maybe, although neither school offers you a good shot for California. You need to retake and try for UCLA and USC, or don't go to law school.
Sticker is considerably worse now than a few years ago. No one has done the equivalent of going to LS today on sticker so no one can really say for sure, except for those who went at sticker when it was cheaper and still regret it.

No it's not. ~60% get biglaw, another 8% get clerkships, another 8% or so get PI. A few people strike out. Most don't and most don't regret their choice. Some do.
Source: LST + I fucking went to NU asshat.

This right here is clear example of TLS elitism. You're really going to sit here and tell someone that going to a T25 law school, for FREE, "might" be worth it? WTF? For someone who actually wants to go to law school it's ABSOLUTELY worth it for free, not "maybe." And for most people it's worth it for prices much higher than free.
TLS elitism is not prestige whoring, TLS elitism is the promulgation that anyone who doesn't have the numbers to get into a T-6 school is making a HORRIBLE, AWFUL, LIFE-RUINING MISTAKE.
Going to either of these schools for 22k/yr in tuition isn't amazing, or even financially prudent, but OP's options are better than 90% of people entering law school this fall.

Shit doesn't magically become not-shit because there's more shitty shit out there.
The majority of people entering law school this Fall probably shouldn't be going to law school. I know i know it's their "dream" or something.
Bob dreamed of going to the NBA. So he wanted to hire someone to train him. The former coach of the Charlotte Bobcats was willing to do it. It could cost him 300k. But the coach gave him a discount. Now it's only 200k. Bob got a better deal than all those idiots paying 300k. Yay for Bob. Fuck those elitists that say Bob is making a bad decision. After all, he got a discount and he's better off than everyone paying 300k.

But it's his DREAM, cuse. HIS DREAM YOU HEARTLESS BASTARD. If only he could just retake a test that would make getting to the NBA realistic, or at least minimize his risk.
And if only that test was as simple as 100 multiple choice questions! If only.

Jokes aside, OP in all honesty...none of these options are particularly good ideas. I know enough friends here at WUSTL (all of them very bright/hardworking) who missed the traditional cutoff point for BigLaw. Thankfully they're all on full rides. But i can't recommend that you come here with only 66k scholly without having some idea of how well you'll do on your finals (which is impossible for anyone to know really)
Northwestern is probably the best hedge against unemployment since they have strongest placement. Which is why i say to just go to NU.
I know nothing about UMN other than it's in a very small market that probably doesn't have a lot of job openings for new law grads. And at equal cost WUSTL is the better option.
