Split between Notre Dame($) and William & Mary($$)

Hey TLS, I'm pretty split between Notre Dame and W&M, here's what I'm working with:
Notre Dame: COA 15k per year/45k total
William & Mary: 4K per year/ 12k total
The dream is to be a federal prosecutor some day, I'd love to live in Virginia for awhile, but I probably wouldn't be able to live the rest of my life there. My parents are getting up there in the years and I might have to move back to Southern California at some point in the next decade and a half to be near them. The placement in CA and the better employment numbers is what has me leaning towards Notre Dame. I like Williamsburg and all, but I don't want to end up as one of the 20% of their students on a school stipend for public interest.
$33,000 is a big price difference though....
Any thoughts?

very tough choice, great offers. I would take ND though based on power of the alumni base (both undergrad and law) when it comes to influence with federal prosecutor positions. Just my 2 cents

45k total for ND seems pretty solid, personally I think the extra money compared to W&M is worth it.

I'd do ND only because I'm a current student. The Southern Cal alumni base is pretty strong (i think USC/UCLA are the largest feeder schools to ND except for ND UG). Plus, as for COA, look at doing the Assistant Rector here on campus and you can practically have a free ride when all is said and done.

What did you get from USC/UCLA?
I actually didn't get into UCLA and got nothing from USC

I'm getting a government stipend for living expenses, so I don't really need the housing, but I get it whether or not I use it for rent. I guess I could just pocket it, are you an Assistant Rector?

Yeah I would do ND, not a bad deal especially because you have housing covered.

I'm definitely leaning towards ND, but I have housing covered wherever I go actually, the stipend is adjusted for the cost of living at the school I go to. Were you class of 2013 NDLS, or are you a 1L this year?
Either way, would you mind answering a couple questions about the place? I would really appreciate any opinion from you on here, it would be nice to hear from a student that doesn't work for admissions.

When you calculated the COA of ND, did you take into account the recent increase in YR? And depending on when you got out, are you including the cost of healthcare or you using VA or something else?

I actually don't get the YRP (Filthy Reservist with <100%) and yeah I do get VA healthcare. I've been looking into Voc Rehab though, which I would rate whenever my VA claim gets processed, it's a pretty good deal, look into it if you haven't heard of it already.
