Thank you in advance.
-The total Cost of Attendance (COA) of each. COA = cost of tuition + fees + books + cost of living (COL) + accumulated interest - scholarships. Here is a helpful calculator.
Columbia $250k, UVA $190K, Northwestern $130K
-How you will be financing your COA, i.e. loans, family, or savings
The amounts above are loan totals including interest at repayment (thanks LS22)
-Where you are from and where you want to work, and other places where you have significant ties (if any)
DC, NYC, my only ties are in a western state (not California)
-Your general career goals
See how long I can last in Biglaw then fed government/in-house/midsize firm in home market. I am pretty open. Also interested in fed clerkships.
-Your LSAT/GPA numbers
173/3.5x
-How many times you have taken the LSAT
Three
I visited CLS and UVA and could see myself at both although I liked CLS/NYC much more. Columbia has been my goal for a while now, but wholly sh*t that's a lot of money.
