Full Ride HLS or no scholarship SLS

I got a fellowship at HLS, which covers law school tuition for 3 years. I feel incredibly lucky to get this, but people have informally told me that there is better mentorship, student culture, and placement into legal academia at SLS. The problem with this is that the benefits at SLS are not as quantifiable as the money from HLS. I'm leaning towards taking the money as a result, but I wanted to see what others might say about this predicament.

You're not going to find a single person on this forum tell you that SLS is the right choice in this scenario.

Unless, of course, money doesn't mean shit to you and you've got a ton of it lying around.

not sure if serious.........

It's hard for me to imagine that someone chosen to be a fellow would not have great mentorship opportunities at HLS, and you'd also have significantly less to pay off (although maybe you're loaded and that doesn't matter). Legal academia is very tough to land, and we could be talking about a tiny difference in probabilities that isn't worth the extra $$$ you'd have to pay at SLS.

Besides, who told you those things and have you looked into the specific figures yourself?

You'll never be complete unless you go to Yale.

Harvard is objectively superior to Stanford for academia anyway.

Maybe leverage your S acceptance to negotiate a living stipend at H? Then, and only then, would I maybe take H

In what scenario does someone get a full ride at H and no money at S? This didn't happen.

Maybe he has one of those last names in which someone has established a scholarship for in Harvard but not in Stanford.

Then he wouldn't be on TLS asking a bunch of randoms.
