Top Law Schools

I live in the midwest but my original desire was to attend University of Colorado, in part due to the location and the possibility of practicing in Colorado as well as the quality of the program. One of the highest ranked programs I was admitted to was William and Mary. I actually ended up receiving similar scholarships to both institutions and greatly enjoyed my recent visit to William & Mary (I visited Boulder several months ago). The question I have is: In your opinion how prestigious a program is William and Mary and does this prestige outweigh any factors pertaining to desired location keeping in mind that both are very good programs? Thank you!

Regional schools are not prestigious.

No.

The degree is regional & doesn't travel well. If you don't really want to live in VA long term, don't go to W&M.

If you want to work in Virginia long term, go to W&M (if the price is right.) If you want to work in Colorado long term, go to Colorado (if the price is right.) Don't get "prestige" mixed up in it.

Employment data fluctuates year to year, especially with small class sizes like these schools have. For example, CU's new LST score will be 69%, 13 points higher than the W&M numbers you posted. See http://www.colorado.edu/law/sites/defau ... 8-2014.pdf

This one year data is equally useless without context.

OP neither school is prestigious and both are regional. Go to law school near where you want to live and work.
