Top Law Schools

I am choosing between a couple of schools at this point. I care about the quality of the education above all else, not the prestige of the name, not $$, not the location or job placement because I already know what I'm doing after law school. All professors at the schools I'm looking at appear to be top notch, from T-14 schools mostly with amazing backgrounds. One school in particular has an awesome program that makes me really want to go there, so that is definitely something that sets it apart from the others.

When selecting a school based on the solidity of the educational program - what factors do you look at? What factors do you put the most weight on?

I'm studying the school profiles, making a list of pros and cons, and reading reviews. But I'm also asking everyone here what things YOU look at when judging the quality of the education you will be receiving at X school.

Its probably going to be the exact same wherever you go. Similar class sizes. Similar teaching styles. Same courses and casebooks. This isn't like undergrad where you're deciding between Oberlin, Wisconsin, and Cornell. Every education is going to be similar. There might be slightly different vibes and political leanings among faculty and students, but even this will be minor.

What schools?

Law school is not about educational quality. Plus it's pretty much the same everywhere. You're just too embarrassed to admit the schools you're applying to. Anywhere that would accept you with a 158 is not worth going to. You can do better than that on the LSAT. Retake.

Yea its basically the same at any T1. Some schools claim to be more "hands on" and applied law, others more theoretical, idk it's just branding. I guess I would look to class & section size as one potentially relevant distinguishing factor. But Im not sure how much difference it makes.
