Definitely wait til next year since you should get some better outcomes just by waiting. But you'd be foolish not to retake. Right now you still probably aren't getting into UCLA/USC and if you do you'd be paying sticker. Retake and at least get money from those two and maybe be competitive for Boalt or Stanford. Why would you not retake?

33% of Champman grads get jobs as lawyers. The other schools aren't even in California.
Retake and apply next cycle. With seven more points Berkeley or six-figure scholarships to UCLA/USC become real possibilities.

Stips?
Wait, never mind, retake is the only option here unless you can come up with a damn good reason not to (LSAT HAAAAAAAAARD is not a good reason).

You could probably get a full ride to University of Arizona, which might give you a better chance of getting a job in CA than Chapman. Also, less debt living in Tucson than any of those cities.
Edit: Though, if you're dead set on CA, retake and go to UCLA/USC.
