Taken lsat twice.

I want to work west preferably California, I guess utah wouldn't be terrible considering I'm from here. I don't necessarily want big law but I want to make at least 70k out of school and over 100k at some point in my life probably doing civil litigation.

Chances are I'll get some significant help from family but I'm not sure how much yet, the rest would be paid for by loans.

All bad options for working in California. Usc and la are expensive.

Thought about retaking?


Uci also might throw lots of money at that point if you have no aspirations of big law.

I've pretty much come to the realization that I should retake in June. I thought uci would make it rain but I got waitlisted which really threw me for a loop. I plan on retaking and I guess if I do worse ill just go to utah and plan on staying here and if I score 170+ either milk more money or wait a cycle and apply early. Is this a good plan? I forgot to mention I had a dui a few years ago and got dismissed from pepperdine as a result, this may be why I was waitlisted so many places. Given this information would a higher lsat really make that much scholly difference with a low gpa and some c and f issues?
