Fordham
I'm just curious about what people think about Fordham on this site. I've gotten into schools that have better job placement and fit my goals better, so I likely won't be going to Fordham anyway. But I have heard a few times both on and off this site that Fordham tends to outperform its rank in the NYC market.
So my question is....what level of debt would most people consider reasonable to take on for Fordham if working in NYC big/medium law was the goal?

Re: Fordham
I was offered almost a full ride and had no problem turning it down (applied as a safety). Fordham is competing with NYU and Columbia for NYC placement, not to mention the other T14s that outperform Fordham.frank617 wrote:I'm just curious about what people think about Fordham on this site. Re: Fordham
Fordham is a real boom or bust school. The top 15-20% of the class does pretty well. The rest of the class does very poorly. Not worth any real amount of debt, imo.

Re: Fordham
Fordham certainly out-places it rank, but the problem is that isn't saying much. Free/almost free or no go, personally.

If big law was the only goal?
Then I wouldn't go to Fordham. Chances are too remote, I would go to a better school.

Re: Fordham
Fordham is a perfect example of trap school before the financial crisis. After the crisis, it is one of the lower tier trap schools. The better trap schools are now those lower tier T14 schools.
